Robert Bradbrook
Robert Bradbrook is head of NFTS Animation and an award winning independent filmmaker. His films included The Sleeper, End of Restriction and Dead Air.
Home Road Movies which tells the true story of his father and their family car, was nominated for a BAFTA and won some of the most prestigious awards in animation including the Cartoon d’Or.
He collaborates with many other filmmakers including Yousaf Ali Khan live action short ‘Talking with Angels’ and Jonathan Hodgson 2019’s BAFTA winning animation ‘Roughhouse’.
As well as running the Directing Animation course at NFTS, he is a visiting tutor at many colleges and gives storytelling workshops at festivals and production companies including Aardman.
What is your favourite British animation of all time?
‘I am Tom Moody’ by Ainslie Henderson – or any of the NFTS animations 😉
