Luis has been involved in cartoons in many capacities for 3 decades. As director, designer, writer, story-boarder on commercials, short films, series and features development. He has also worked as a lecturer in the UK, US, France and Denmark. He has won an obscene   mountain of awards, when piled up the peak isn’t visible, but at the top are Bafta’s, the Cartoon D’or and most impressively 5 BAA’s. His genius simply knows no bounds!

What is your favourite British animation of all time?

Pinky and Boo. Derek Hayes.

What’s the best thing about working in the industry?

Spreading animated joy and the smiles on the faces of the little children.

I was a judge on the BA Awards a few years ago.
